How Good Is Iridology?

Iridology is the study of the patterns and colours on the iris of the eye. This enables a person’s overall health condition to be determined, even before the symptoms arise. It is therefore a non-invasive method of viewing the iris to determine existing or potential health issues. Iridologists use iridology charts to make these observations. The charts have been created after observation of a variety of irises over the years. Each marking and zone in the iris represents a different aspect or organ of the human body.

How good is Iridology? If you recall visiting a General Practitioner Doctor some twenty or thirty years ago, you may recall the Doctor shining a torchlight into your eye to examine it. When you visit an Optician, they do the same with modern equipment. So all these highly educated and trained professionals are aware of the effectiveness of Iridology. However, sadly over the years, very few if any continue to practice or use this knowledge due to time pressures and business running costs. Most have chosen the more commercially viable route, taking short cuts by prescribing chemical medication for faster but not permanent results.

Our eyes may be thought of as the windows to our soul. However, they can also provide valuable information about our health. Apart from Iridologists, other professionals that use Iridology include Chiropractors, Nutritionists, Herbalists, Homeopaths and Naturopaths. Iridology is used as a diagnostic tool and an early warning system of monitoring one’s health. Iridology can detect the signs of a developing disease or disorder. It can also provide an insight to a person’s overall state of health. The goal is to identify illnesses as early as possible and recommend effective ways to prevent the disease from actually occurring.

Diseases or potential diseases that can be spotted using Iridology include Arthritis, Cancer, Cholesterol, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Thyroid Weaknesses, Liver Weaknesses, Lung Weaknesses, Strokes, Digestive Issues and Skin Concerns. These weaknesses are spotted via various markings in the Iris, which is the colour part of the eye and also the Sclera, which is the whites of the eyes.

In the above Eye photo, which has been taken using a special Iridology Camera, you can see stress rings or Contraction Furrows in the Iris. These show weaknesses in various organs, depending on where the stress rings are located, which could be an entire circle around the Iris or parts of the Iris. One stress ring indicates the body or particular organ is at least 20% stressed. This is very powerful especially when symptoms as a result of negative emotions are not tangible or visible. The person could be stressed through some trauma, harrassment or bullying, however may not express it.

Dark or unusual colours or markings in the iris could indicate cancer in the particular organ area or medical or drug deposits that are still in the organ or specific areas of the body. These deposits will affect and weaken our bodies and liver in the longer term if not dealt with.

Most illnesses start in our digestive system. As the saying goes, “We are what we eat”. This also applies to everything else our body is exposed to such as pollution and chemicals that enter our body through creams, sprays and even toothpaste. Using Iridology, we can assess which part of the digestive system is clogged with undigested food and waste that has not yet been expelled. Over time, our colons or large intestines are like pipes, kettle or washing machines where scale and waste residue builds up. It then affects our energy levels because we are not digesting food or expelling waste effectively.

By looking into your eyes using Iridology, these areas of health weaknesses can be identified more precisely and natural remedies recommended to deal with these areas of concern. In Iridology, we can even locate weaknesses in the spine. This is why smart Chiropractors use and practice Iridology as well as it helps them locate which part of the spine needs adjusting.
