What Does An Iridologist Do

Iridology is the study of the patterns and colours on the iris of the eye. This enables a person’s overall health condition to be determined. It is a non-invasive method of viewing the iris to determine existing or potential health issues. Iridologists use iridology charts to make these observations. The charts have been created after observation of a variety of irises over the years. Each marking and zone in the iris represents a different aspect or organ of the human body.

An Iridologist will look for the subtle signs of illness or disease that may be developing before any symptoms arise. These may include signs of stress, shown as contraction furrows or stress rings. It may also include signs of a build up of toxicity within the body, caused by lifestyle and environmental pollution. The Iridologist will also refer to Iridology Charts to locate weaknesses in specific organs in the body such as the liver, gallbladder, lungs, brain and even genitals.

An Iridology consultation is normally a very thorough appointment in comparison to a check up with a General Practitioner Doctor who is time stressed and each appointment will only deal with one health concern and last no longer than ten minutes. When you visit our clinic, you will be in a much more relaxed and non clinical environment, where we will spend more time getting to know your health history and lifestyle. We will go through what you are currently consuming in terms of food, drink, medication and supplements as applicable.

We will then initially use a magnifying glass and torch to look at your eyes so that we have a better idea of which areas to focus more on when taking your eye photos using a special Iridology Camera. Once we are satisfied with the photos, we will transfer these to our laptop or computer and view these on a wider screen with the patient. We will then analyse the main key five to six areas of concern. We will be able to analyse much more, however, this can be overwhelming for the patient which is why we guide the person in smaller achivable steps.

As we also have vast knowledge of nutrition, we will recommend natural remedies and top quality potency guaranteed supplements. Following our recommendations fully or as much as possible will enable you to get the best results and relieve you of any pain or discomfort. Watch our TV recording below where you will get a better picture of what to expect when you visit us.

Depending on your current health condition, we will recommend you return for follow up visits once or more every year so that we can monitor your progress and also tweak our recommendations accordingly. When you return for a follow up appointment, we will spend slightly less time, especially if you have kept us updated on your progress during that time. We will take new photos and compare the photos to the earlier photos so that your progress is monitored. We can then adjust our recommendations as required.

Our bodies go through many changes over time and with more stressful lifestyles. It is therefore important to have regular check-ups.  We only have one life and one body so it is important to treat it well and give it the best chance to enable us to live life to the fullest and longest disease and pain free. Iridology is a non invasive tool that will enable you to do this and discover any areas of weaknesses or concerns and to deal with these areas as soon as practical, prior to symptoms arising.
