Iridology Benefits

Iridology is the study of the patterns and colours on the iris of the eye. This enables a person’s overall health condition to be determined. It is a non-invasive method of viewing the iris to determine existing or potential health issues. Iridologists use iridology charts to make these observations. The charts have been created after observation of a variety of irises over the years. Each marking and zone in the iris represents a different aspect or organ of the human body.

Whilst Iridology cannot diagnose diseases, it can help determine which organs and systems in the body that are under stress and at the risk of developing specific conditions. Iridologists will compare findings over time by taking new eye photos, enabling changes to be tracked to indicate if an illness is improving or progressing.

Our eyes are not just the window to our soul. They also offer a glimpse into our health. Changes in our eyes can signal vision problems, skin problems, diabetes, high blood pressure and even retinal detachment. There may be various doubts from incorrect articles claiming iridology does not work. However, if you go back some 30 or more years, you may recall your General Practitioner Doctor, who had more time for your appointment then, shining a torch and looking into your eyes.

Please make time to watch and learn from our very comprehensive interview on how Iridology Can Be Used to Improve Your Health.

Even Opticians and Eye Specialists can tell some of the problems listed below. The following are some of the health concerns that Iridology can detect:

Anemia

This is a condition caused by lack of healthy red blood cells. Blood cells carry adequate oxygen to your body’s tissues. Having anemia will cause you to feel constantly weak and tired.

Blood Pressure

Warning signs of High Blood Pressure can be indicated in the eye.

Cholesterol

A white ring around the iris or partly around the iris indicates excessive cholesterol or arteriosclerosis. This needs to be addressed urgently to prevent serious illnesses such as heart attacks and strokes.

Diabetes

Iridology can detect excess sugar levels that are normally an indication of pre-diabetes or diabetes. When these signs are detected, the Iridologist will recommend further tests to be carried out to confirm these findings. Watch our short video to learn more.

Digestive Issues

Most of the illnesses are caused by unhealthy gut health.

Drug Deposits

When chemical drugs have been injected, orally consumed, inhaled or rubbed on the skin, for example via creams or ingested orally such as using toothpaste containing unnatural ingredients, the residue from these chemicals can show up as dark spots in the iris.

Heart Problems

Iridology can be used to detect early symptoms of heart function problems.

Inflammation

This can be a prelude to a variety of serious health conditions such as arthritis and autoimmune diseases. It is therefore critical to spot these warning signs early.

Liver Weaknesses

Contrary to popular belief, liver weaknesses occur even if you do not consume alchohol.  The liver’s main job is to filter blood coming from the digestive tract, before passing it to the rest of the body. It also detoxifies chemicals and metabolizes drugs. As this process occurs, the liver secretes bile that ends up back in the intestines.

Brown spots found in the liver area of the iris indicates liver disease. Similarly, brown or yellow spots in the sclera, whites of the eyes are indication of jaundice or liver disease. Jaundice is a condition that occurs when there is too much bilirubin, a yellow compound formed from the breakdown of red blood cells in your blood. It causes your eyes and even skin to turn yellow.

Liver problems often manifest as mental disorders such as depression, anger and frustration.

Lymphatic Health

Those with blue colour irises normally have these weaknesses. As the lymphatic system relies on lung function to remove pollutants, this can impact on the respiratory system.

Shallow Breathing

White marks in the iris indicates lack of oxygen. This is normally caused when a person does not breathe deep.

Stress Levels

These can be detected by white lines or rings in the iris. It will indicate specific organs that are stressed. It can also indicate anxiety that may be caused by bullying or other concerns. Our vast experience have found that even children as young as 2 or 3 years old are under severe stress. This may be from peer pressure, bullying or physical abuse. It is therefore important to get young children checked out since they are too young to report or express the stress they are encountering.

Thyroid Weaknesses

Hyperthyroidism occurs when eyes bulge slightly, indicating an overworked thyroid. It is normally caused by inadequate nutrition intake and anxiety. The symptoms include fatigue, rapid heartbeat, difficulty sleeping and fatigue.

Hypothyroidism is caused by an underactive thyroid where your thyroid, the small gland in your neck, does not produce sufficient hormones. Symptoms include weight gain, sensitivity to cold and feeling tired all the time.

Tumours

Abnormal dark spots, patches and lacuna or space in the iris may be an indication of a tumour in the respective organ. When these are spotted, the Iridologist will recommend further tests such as blood test to confirm this.

Vitamin C Deficiency

This normally shows up as inflammed or broken capillaries in the sclera, whites of the eyes. An Iridologist who is also trained in Sclerology like us will be able to detect this and recommend effective natural solutions.
