What Is Iridology and Sclerology?

Iridology is the study of the patterns and colours on the iris of the eye. This study enables a person’s overall health condition to be determined. It is a non-invasive method of viewing the iris to determine existing or potential health issues. Iridologists use iridology charts to make these observations. Iridology Charts have been created after observation of a variety of irises over the years. Each marking and zone in the iris represents a different aspect or organ of the human body.

Iridology can show History of Illnesses and ongoing weaknesses in the body. It some cases, it can also show scarring from surgery on specific organs. It can detect potential diseases over ten years before symptoms arise and is therefore a very powerful tool for a non invasive health check. Watch our short video to learn more:

The eyes have long been referred to as the “Windows of the Soul”. However, very few people are aware of just how true this observation is.  Iridology enables an accurate analysis of the iris structure and reveal the many factors that influence a person’s health and even personality. Similar to finger prints, no two irises are identical. You may also learn more from another short video below:

The whites of the eye is called the Sclera. Sclerology is therefore the study and analysis of the sclera. Sclerology examines mainly the red lines or capillaries in the whites of the eye. It is a gentle non-invasive way of identifying inherited strengths and deficiencies in the body. Very inflammed capillaries in the sclera would often indicate a shortage or severe deficiency in Vitamin C. Weaknesses in various organs, especially the liver can also be detected from sclerology. For example, jaundice, which can be a sign of liver disease will cause the whites of your eye or sclera to turn yellow.

Sclerology involves the study of the white portion of the eye to assess the level of health of various organs and systems within the body. It is normally conducted in conjunction with an Iridology consultation. Similar to Iridology, improvements or deterioration in the particular organ or system can be noted via comparing previous eye photos with current ones. This is a more accurate and visual method of assessing progress rather than just basing progress or deterioration on the patient’s feelings and report on how they are following recommended changes to food and drinks intake and changes to lifestyle.
