The Four Stages Of Disease are as follows:

Acute

This means the disease is at the start of onset and this is the stage where it is best to take action to prevent the disease from getting worse and to reverse it.

For example, the common cold, flu and sore throat. These conditions generally come on rapidly, however will improve after urgent or short term care is provided. The recovery time is quite quick and symptoms normally improve with rest and care. Maintaining a healthier lifestyle and taking top quality supplements can prevent acute diseases from occuring.

Sub-Acute

At this stage, the disease is much more advance in duration. The problem would be present for at least 6 weeks but less that 3 months.

For example, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis and tonsillitis. These conditions are more severe than the acute stage and less than the chronic stage.

Chronic

These are diseases that have been present for over 3 months. For example, cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity. Chronic disease generally progress slowly over a long time.

For example, you may have hypertension or high blood pressure for many years without realising it. This can cause serious health threats such as stroke and heart attacks.

Depression is another example, which may not be easily picked up unless the person undergoes a non invasive health check such as using Iridology.

Degenerative

This is the most serious stage of disease in which the function or structure of the affected tissues or organs changes for the worse over time. For example Alzheimer disease, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.

Degenerative diseases are caused by a wide variety of factors. Some are a result of normal wear and tear of the body, whilst others are caused by poor health or an unhealthy lifestyle. Many degenerative diseases can either be prevented or cured. However, depending on the severity, there will reach a stage where it will be too late to provide treatment.

Degenerative diseases often affect mobility, causes severe ongoing discomfort and ceasing of function of various organs.
