Today, I’m going to explain to you about the symptoms of Diabetes. You need to hear that because the reason why I’m saying that is because for the last 40 odd years, I’ve been working with diabetic patients amongst other diseases and unfortunately, because people are not listening to what they should be eating and taking care of their food and food habits, and sleeping habits, and so on, Diabetes currently is doubling every four years. I’m going to repeat that. Diabetes is doubling every four years.
So why should you listen to me. Well I’ve been a wellness practitioner for over 40 years, with experience, with over 45,000 patients in 23 countries. I have dealt with diabetes in key countries like Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and of course, many parts of Europe. The most prevalent area of diabetes is from Indians, Asians, because they tend to eat a lot of white rice.
So what are the symptoms of Diabetes? You need to know that so that if you start to see that in yourself, or you see some member of your family or your friends with those symptoms, you can then say to them “Look, you should get yourself checked out to see whether you got Diabetes”. Now, just so we know exactly what I’m talking about.
TYPES OF DIABETES
There are two types of Diabetes, Diabetes Type One and Diabetes Type Two. Diabetes Type One is a serious one. It’s basically that your pancreas which is on the left of your body, your pancreas basically is not making insulin at all or very little. That’s a serious form of Diabetes. With that, you need to take a lot of injections of insulin on a daily basis. That’s basically what people are told by the medical profession.
Now Diabetes Type Two is quite common, more common and that’s when you are taking insulin through the mouth, or your sugars are there but it’s not at the right level. You should be at least five or below, but you may be at 5.5 or 6 or 6.5. So that’s Diabetes Mellitus Type Two and that means that in that condition, you can treat that quite easily with natural remedies, but let’s talk about the symptoms.
MAIN SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES
First thing you’ll notice is Irritability. That is either you or somebody next to you, irritability, thirst, I mean, unquenchable thirst, always feeling thirsty, frequent urination and now don’t mistake that one. You can have frequent urination caused by your drinking two to three litres of water or liquids per day, you’re going to get frequent urination. We are talking about frequent urination, even if you’re drinking very little water, or very little tea or coffee. The other one is extreme hunger, unexplained weight loss. All of a sudden, you are at that level and you drop back maybe two or three stones very quickly, unexplained weight loss, straightaway get it checked out.
Now also when you get checked out, you will check for what is called ketones in the urine. Ketones are the by-product of the waste of muscle and fat. When the ketones are showing in the urine, it means that you’re losing muscle and fat through the urine and that’s not good because you know, you don’t want to be so thin that you actually get worse.
The next one is fatigue. Now, don’t mistake fatigue for tiredness. Everybody can get tired. Three or four o’clock in the afternoon, six o’clock at night, If you have done a hard day’s work, seven o’clock, you can get tired but we are talking about fatigue. Fatigue is when you are so tired, that you just want to lie down and just just go to sleep. That’s fatigue and that’s a very common symptom if it’s seen on a regular basis. Fatigue is something that is very prevalent in Diabetes Type One and Type Two.
And last but not least, another very common one is blurred vision. If you start to get blurring with glasses on, that means you definitely need to get checked out. Now, one more thing, when you have got a very good eyesight, it’s a very good chance that you are maintaining your sugar level in the pancreas and hence your eyes are strong and that makes Big difference.
